Tempo (Ex)Piralado (2010)

The collection “Tempo (Ex)Piralado” alludes to the natural constructions, desconstructions and reconstructions of things in the world along a particular time and rhythm. It was inspired, for example, by rock formations – designs randomly built with time -, skin lines – lines that develop slowly on our bodies -, waves, a tumor growing or water designs provoked by the wind.

The garments were made with cotton jersey strips, strained and sewn upon a twill base. Those strips were manipulated with crochet, braids or loom.
They also received synthetic or natural dyeing (like coffee, for example).

As a result, we have images full of visual information, concept and creative expression.
